The Landing Wedding Checklist

The Month Before

  1. Manages RSVPs and Seating Chart

  2. Creates a Wedding Timeline

  3. Finalize table and ceremony seating set-up with The Landing staff

  4. Obtain and turn in your event insurance policy to The Landing

    1. If you are having a hard time finding event insurance providers, ask The Landing staff and we can assist you! ​

  5. If you are having bar service at your wedding, turn in alcohol permit and licensing to The Landing

  6. Communicate with Wedding Vendors

    1. Provide all vendors with the timeline that they have created so everyone knows where they need to be and when.

    2. Give the wedding photographer and videographer the shot list for the day.

    3. Supply the caterers and venue coordinator with the final guest count.

    4. Secure any additional rentals and supplies.

    5. Confirm deliveries.

  7. Pick Up Wedding Day Stationery and Signage

  8. Finalize Rehearsal Plans

The Day Before

  1. Prepares Marriage Contract and Necessary Documents

  2. Makes Any Last-minute Seating Changes

  3. Decoration set up if available (Weekend reservations only)

  4. Arrange Final Payments 

  5. Attend Rehearsal

The Day of Wedding Checklist

 

Designate a "point" person

This is an important step to ensure that your wedding day runs smoothly. Designate a trusted friend, maid of honor, family member or wedding coordinator to take care of all day-of issues and questions, so that you can focus on the most important part of the day: Getting married! 

 

  1. Decoration set up

  2. Designate cake-cutting responsibility

  3. Check in with vendors and The Landing staff

  4. Finalize ceremony space and reception table, décor and floral set-up 

    1. Alter décor and flower set up and teardown​

    2. Aisle décor set up

    3. Table-scape finalized and set up

    4. King's table or sweetheart table set up and decorated

    5. Gift table and guest book table decorated

  5. Locate and keep track of wedding rings, marriage license, and vows
